Brzezinski's Belligerent Bout at Columbia University
Activist groups Philly 9/11 Truth and We Are CHANGE (New York) inundated former presidential adviser Zbigniew Brzezinski with criticisms and questions at Columbia University on Tuesday. In the face of seven educated questioners, Brzezinski immediately invoked sophistic rhetoric to placate the audience and whats more used adhominem attacks against those posing the questions. Brzezinski derisively responded to inquiries about the nature of his Bilderberg affiliation quipping that they, Bilderberg, try to find ways to "suck the blood out of the poor." The truth-squad was neither amused nor daunted by Brzezinski's disdainful remarks and continued to grill the pompous self proclaimed elitist. Then Brzezinski was confronted on the issue of the US role in culturing the conflict between the Mujahideen in Afghanistan and the Soviets, a move intended to facilitate the downfall of communism, however a pursuit antithetical toward preexisting policies that actually supported communist regimes. Brzezinski attempted to straw man the question by claiming that the inquirer incorrectly paraphrased his comments from the Le Nouvel Observateur, Paris, 1998 interview by citing that the Soviets were already engaged in Afghanistan and therefore "we didn't lure them." To clarify, Brzezinski stated in that interview "We didn't push the Russians to intervene, but we knowingly increased the probability that they would", increasing the probability of intervention and luring are not one in the same apparently. His pomposity did not end there, when confronted with the shortcomings and admitted impediments placed on the 9/11 Commission, Brzezinski once more tried to dismiss the question by asserting that the inquirer was mistaken in his interpretation of the adversities faced by the 911 Commission.

Prior to the attacks of September 11, 2001, Willie Brown, who was the incumbent mayor of San Francisco at the time, received a warning advising that Americans should be cautious about their air travel (San Francisco Chronicle 9/12/01). The warning, given to Brown eight hours before the onset of the 9/11 attacks, reportedly came from his "security people at the airport" as he tells it. On the morning of September 11th, Brown did not become aware of the tragic events until he turned on his television while awaiting a ride to the airport for his 8 a.m. flight to New York where he was to attend a state retirement board meeting (ibid). Around this time, District Attorney Terence Hallinan, called Mayor Brown to offer assistance. From this point, Brown cancelled his flight plans and headed to City Hall in order to conduct emergency management of San Francisco (ibid).
On February 12, 2008, Willie Brown spoke about his new book, Basic Brown: My Life and Our Times at the Free Library of Philadelphia. After speaking, Brown took questions from the audience and emphasized, "no subject was off-limits." Little did Brown know, but he was about to be on the receiving end of some salient questions regarding his activities related to the events of 9/11/01. The Philly 9/11 Truth-squad unleashed a fury of questions pertaining to Brown's early warning, backing up their claims with reports from mainstream media publications. Brown, while attempting to controvert the issue, contradicted previous statements he made to the San Francisco Chronicle in the September 12, 2001 article titled "Willie Brown got a low-key early warning about air travel."
As Brown narrated his experience of the morning of 9/11, he created a sequence of events contrary to existing accounts. Brown stated that he received a call from "one of his people" noting the caller as a female by referring to the person as her that alerted him to the events happening in New York City. This statement stands in stark contradiction to what Brown said to the San Francisco Chronicle because he reportedly did not receive any calls that morning until the District Attorney Terence Hallinan contacted him.
"You know, you're the first call I've gotten on this," Brown said to Hallinan, as they were signing off. - San Francisco Chronicle 9/12/2001
Furthermore Brown replied to questions about the 8-hour advance warning by stating that the aforementioned warning was a reference to the standard report that comes out of Washington, everyday of our lives. There are always those kinds of notices floating aroundperiod and they did that regularly, and told the questioner to drop it! Prima-facie this claim is false because Brown stated in 2001 that he received a call from his "security people at the airport" which regarded Americans being cautious about their air travel. Moreover, the call could not have been a general warning because the deputy director at the San Francisco International Airport details that there were no warnings made by the FAA in the days leading up to 9/11 in the following abstract:
Mike McCarron, assistant deputy director at SFO, said the Federal Aviation Administration "routinely" issues security notices about possible threats. He said two or three such notices have been received in the past couple of months, but none in recent days. - San Francisco Chronicle 9/12/2001
As we can see, Brown's statements as reported by the San Francisco Chronicle on 9/12/2001 undoubtedly conflict the narrative he delivered on 2/12/07 in Philadelphia. Only one question remains, who warned Willie Brown?

It was a blistering cold wind, where signs were difficult to keep steady in the winds, but we braved the inclement weather to warm our fellow citizens' hearts and minds. Outside the International Car Expo in Philadelphia we were quickly stifled by the event security with the aid of Philadelphia police officers and forced off of "public property!" Alas it was too cold to fight the injustice there so we went across the narrow street for several more hours.
There will be a time when we confront this brand of egregious violation to our constitution to peacefully protest. A city police officer said we did not have a permit because they were all purchased by the Convention Center Auto Expo Show, and to be brought up with L&I of the city, the same city where the Constitution was signed is a disgrace to all. Overall, strong support from the crowds, a few negatives.

David Swanson, a leading voice for mainstay organizations seeking to end the war and impeach the Bush administration, continues to be adversarial toward the 9/11 Truth movement. With hopes to establish why Swanson is adverse to 9/11 skepticism, members of Philly 9/11 Truth attended a Progressive Democrats of South Jersey forum wherein Swanson was the main speaker. After boosting the Obama campaign by pulling the tired phrase 'lesser of two evils', he fielded questions from the audience. As Philly 9/11 Truth members steered the topic onto the 9/11 cover-up, the audience offered their own personal anecdotes in agreement. Swanson however attempted to marginalize the matter by citing it as the 439th issue to be concerned with and furthermore claimed that 9/11 Truth is 'largely, nonsensical and not helpful.'
The purpose of the truth-squad was to establish why the leadership of the Peace movements are in opposition to pursuing peace through the mechanisms of 9/11 Truth. From Swanson's rebuttals it is clear that there are many misconceptions about the beliefs and methodological practices of the 9/11 Truth movement. This however may be more than a simple misunderstanding and possibly be indicative of greater concern. We must continue to push for support from the Peace movement leadership, however we must be aware of the possibilities for corruption and narrow-mindedness that prevent truth from prevailing.

Valerie Plame Wilson, former CIA agent who worked to infiltrate and disrupt international nuclear procurement rings, received unexpected questions from the audience at the National Constitution Center in Philadelphia. Plame lectured about the absurdity of her expulsion from the CIA and the dangers we face as Americans, given the existence of this Bush-league brand of corruption.
Plame fielded questions from the audience - unfortunately, her replies were neither substantive nor insightful. Scott and Phil of Philly 9/11 Truth each asked a question, and each in turn were met with the same dismissive rhetoric that one might expect from an embittered yet cautious ex-CIA employee. The first question was concerned with the one hundred thousand dollar wire-transfer to Muhammad Atta from the Pakistani I.S.I on September 10, 2001. She responded by saying she would have to base her analysis on 'fact' and could not respond since she was not apprised to the details of the issue. She was then questioned about government censorship using the example of CIA field operative Gary Berntsen who alleged that the U.S. allowed bin Laden to escape during the Battle of Tora Bora.
After the speaking engagement, Plame signed books and was asked about her involvement with Brewster Jennings. When queried about the possibility of her ousting being the result of an FBI investigation into the American Turkish Council, she immediately stonewalled the question by invoking her CIA confidentiality clause. Plame acknowledged her awareness of Sibel Edmonds� statements and agreed that they are alarming, but when asked if she would join Sibel�s National Security Whistleblowers Coalition she smugly grinned and replied 'no.' Shortly thereafter, she refused to comment when asked about Bush's transfer of nuclear secrets to Turkey.

John Bolton, speaking at the University of Pennsylvania in Philadelphia, was pummeled with a fury of tough questions from Philly 9/11 Truth.
Being a director of the notorious Project for a New American Century and endorser of the anathematic document 'Rebuilding America's Defenses', member Nick Carangi asked Bolton to address the use of 'genotype' bio-weapons to which Bolton issued an assurance that the United States has no such ambitions.
After the main forum, Philly 9/11 Truth continued to accost Bolton with hard issues. Bolton became belligerent toward Mark Peters as he was probed about his 2003 attendance at the Bilderberg Conference in Versaille, Paris. Peters informed Bolton that his activities were in violation of the Logan Act and prodded Bolton to give up information about the Bilderberg's itinerary asking him 'what goes on there.' Bolton became defensive saying, 'Not a damn thing' and stated that more happens at another elite event (name of event is inaudible). Bolton was ushered away by secret service however caught mid step by another team of info-warriors.
Continuing our push to further Sibel Edmonds story, much to the dismay of the next questioner, Bolton confirmed being aware of the Sibel Edmonds nuclear-secrets issue, but remarked that he was unsure as to its significance.

Philadelphians convened outside of City Hall in Center City yesterday to welcome presidential hopeful Hillary Clinton (Senator NY). Clinton had come to Philadelphia to meet with the former Mayor of Philadelphia, and the current mayor of Philadelphia. Both Ed Rendell and Michael Nutter, respectively, attended a meeting inside Philadelphia's City Hall to endorse Hillary's campaign for the White House. Outside, Philly 9/11 Truth along with a crowd of 50 or so other people waited for Clinton's scheduled arrival of 1:30pm, however Mrs. Clinton did not arrive until 3:30pm. Most had Hillary signs, some even had Obama signs, Philly 9/11 Truth came prepared with 9/11 First Responder signs and 'Expose the 9/11 Cover-up' placards.
Hillary's supporters lavished her in cheers as she arrived expecting her to reciprocate with an equal showing of appreciation. As those who are informed might expect, Clinton did not even make the slightest attempt as her beige SUV literally drove up onto the sidewalk, carefully avoiding the crowd, and she quickly ran into City Hall. A bit disappointed, but vigilant, the crowd waited. During the delay Philly 9/11 Truth began talking with people in the crowd. The idea of a Bush-Clinton dynasty was communicated to an elderly woman in support of Hillary. The supporter scoffed at the remark and proceeded to show a police officer a picture of her with Hillary, as well as a shot of Hillary Clinton snowman with twigs reading '2008' embedded on its chest.
After 40 minutes, much of the crowd dispersed leaving only a handful of dedicated supporters. After waiting outside for three hours, a new crowd formed that yelped and cheered ferociously as Clinton emerged, only to witness her slide directly into her SUV and expediently leave the area without so much as a wave. As the caravan drove past the crowd, member of Philly Truth, Nick F.,
held the first responders sign in the view of the caravan. Mrs. Clinton SUV had the back windows covered with what appeared to be black garbage bags to obscure visibility. The Secret Service starred menacingly at the crowd. Perhaps these politicians are catching on to truth-squads and avoiding them wherever possible.
The day was still to be seized however. A CBS news crew was attempting to film around the west side of City Hall however they were immediately rushed with counter-propaganda, interjecting truth into a live broadcast. The signs read '7 out of 10 first responders have respiratory illnesses,' and 'Expose the 9/11 Cover-up.' Immediately after the broadcast while conversing with the reporter about the first responders and the possibility of media coverage, she used the excuse of a phone call to cut the exchange short.
The underground communication network was far from finished. Philly 9/11 Truth paraded around the city, showing signs for several blocks on a short journey back home. Dozens of people yelled encouraging statements from their automobiles and nodded in approval. Nearing the end of the foot-patrol, a firetruck was sighted in the distance. In perhaps the most rewarding part of the day, the truck let out a thunderous resounding blare of its horn, signaling solidarity.

Michael Shermer is a contributor to Scientific American and publisher of Skeptic Magazine, he admits that goverments use false pretexts in order to go to war, yet he denies any possibilty that 9/11 could have been such an event. Unknown previously, I told Shermer I'd buy one of his books when he would debunk the official government story of 911, though I'm not holding my breath.

This marked the 1st video of the new year as well as the 6th year anniversary of Guantanamo prison camp where torture has occured and there are NO habeas corpus rights, giving minimal effective means to challenge the basis of a detention. Thanks for all those who came out, the public was great and efforts like this are bringing awareness to the internal corruption of our intelligence communities as mentioned by former FBI translator Sibel Edmonds and the other whistleblowers of 9/11 e.g. Dr. Robert "Bob" Bowman.
The collapses of the WTC as analyzed by the Architects and Engineers was also discussed among several other 9/11 amazing facts.

The regional meeting will pull together activists from the greater
Philadelphia area in order to organize a strong base of operation.
This meeting will focus on resource procurement and financial
management. Also in this meeting we will focus on the content of our
outreaches regarding how we approach the general public and the
specific issues that we speak to. The main issue of this meeting will
however focus on the 4th of July event to take place in Philadelphia
which is a national gathering of Peace, anti-war, and political
groups. Our goal is to formulate a plan on how we can enlighten those
parties and shift their focus onto 9/11 Truth.
Suggested Key Groups:
* Media Creation Team- a group that will function to create
multi-media 911 truth material for Internet, broadcast, print, etc.
* Legal Team- a group that will need lawyers to do work PRO-BONO to
further the movement.
* Event team- a group that will organize fund raisers, protests,
conferences etc.
